The Art for the Journey team had a great time visiting the set of WTVR 6 this morning to share the news of the upcoming “For Arts Sake Gallery” Student Art Exhibit on May 11, 2018 (from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.) a Fundraiser event benefitting the AFJ programs.
Award winning reporters Greg McQuade and Jessica Noll interviewed AFJ CEO Mark Hierholzer, and Jamie Wigginton Director of Programs and learned more about the mission of Art for the Journey. We are grateful to our Community Engagement Coordinator Melba Gibbs, and WTVR General Manager Stephan Hayes for making it possible for us to visit the set and share more about Art for the Journey with the viewers of channel 6 in Richmond, Virginia.
Bill Bevins a very familiar talented television and radio personality in Richmond for many years, and Cindy Paullin, Assistant Executive Director, AFJ, joined Mark, Jamie, Jessica and Greg for this photo! Thanks to all! We hope to see lots of people at the free event on Friday May 11, 5:00 p.m. at For Art’s Sake Art Gallery!
