Jamie Wigginton, Director of Programs, and Cindy Paullin, Deputy Executive Officer – Art for the Journey, were interviewed Wednesday, October 3rd by Jessica Noll and Greg McQuade of CBS 6 to announce the upcoming Art Exhibit Gala planned for October 11, 2018! We were supported by our fearless leader, Mark Hierholzer, CEO who filmed a quick documentary! This was great fun and we are excited to announce that Greg McQuade will emcee the upcoming Gala event! Greg has learned first hand about one of the AFJ programs that was our first program and continues to inspire us to promote well-being through art and creative expression, and produced an amazing CBS6 news story by visiting the Art for the Journey program at the Virginia Center of Corrections in Goochland. Greg helped viewers witness the impact this program has had in the lives of these ladies, who, like many of the groups we serve, are oftentimes forgotten members of our community. The GALA is only a little more than a week away! Get your tickets on Eventbrite, and know that your ticket purchase will provide wellbeing through creative expression for an adult or child in Richmond, who may have never had such an opportunity. So, THANK YOU in advance for your ticket purchase. Prepare for a wonderful evening of art, music, wine, and surprises, in the beautiful setting at University of Richmond – Jepson Alumni Center from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
