Lezlie Hierholzer is an impressionist painter, poet, and writer residing in Louisa, Virginia at Ravenwood Farm where she also gardens, writes, and paints.
Lezlie holds a Masters degree in English Education from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans.
Lezlie has been painting landscapes and portraits with instructor, Mark Hierholzer and has ben a volunteer with Art for the Journey since 2013. During the school year, Leslie teaches English and Composition at John Tyler Community College and 8th Grade English for Greene County Public Schools in Standardsville, VA.
Lezlie also spent time earlier in her career working alongside Mother Teresa of Calcutta and her Missionaries of Charity. Her vocation took her to serve US cities as well as Haiti, Manila, and the Philippines.
Lezlie also paints with artists from Swan Quarter, North Carolina at the Mattie Center. She is also am accomplished musician and singer who has played at various venues in SW Virginia.
