Art for the Journey invites you to attend the 4th annual Art Exhibit Gala!
Artists from around Richmond, Virginia and beyond will exhibit beautiful paintings for sale in the lovely setting at the Jepson Alumni Center at University of Richmond. The fourth annual event will raise funds for AFJ programs. Every day, Art for the Journey provides programs for adults and children that are designed to promote positive mental health and well-being.
Over the years, Artists from the Bon Air Artists Association, James River Art League, Metro Richmond Artists Association, Crossroads Art Center, Art Works, Chesterfield Artists Association, VCU Art School, and other Art groups have submitted beautiful works to be juried and exhibited. Artists know, first hand, that creating art can provide solace, joy, peace, and even healing. Seeking to share this phenomenon, AFJ volunteers provide opportunities for other, especially the underserved, to receive joy, and peace through art.
This year, the event will be held on October 24th, 2019 at the University of Richmond Jepson Alumni Center. Tickets are available on Eventbrite. The $75.00 ticket price will include delicious food and wine, music and wonderful atmosphere, with amazing and lovely art. Net proceeds benefit Art for the Journey programs.
