Stephanie is an academically trained studio artist who has commissioned and exhibited work, as well as taught K-12 art classes to socio-economically diverse populations. With a commitment to strengthening communities through the arts, she co-founded a charity theater, worked at a local gallery, and has developed and managed programs for local nonprofits in Richmond her entire life. In every role, her greatest joy is always identifying and nurturing individual strengths that help build environments of safety, connection, and growth.
She was most recently the grant project manager for Art for the Journey’s three-year statewide expansion of OMA. Now she brings together her experience in art education, client services, nonprofit administration, and program management to lead intergenerational programming for Art for the Journey, namely Opening Minds through Art (OMA) and Elevating Lives through Art (ELA), both which connect older and younger adults through best-practice visual art programs.
