Dear Artists,

Art for the Journey is delighted to announce our 5th annual Art Exhibition and Celebration! Each year the juried art exhibited at our annual fundraising event continues to be more and more beautiful especially as regional artists and organizations participate! The staff and volunteers of Art for the Journey are excited to invite artists to submit up to 6 paintings to be juried for this year's event. Additionally, We are now able to showcase both juried art at the in-person exhibit, and exhibit additional works online through a specially designed event website.

This spectacular art event is attended by people who love art, culture, and community, and raises funds for the mission of Art for the Journey to overcome barriers and transform lives through art. Artists create community engagement and make a beautiful difference impacting the lives of adults and children in underserved communities!

This year the number of guests will be limited, and the Celebration will be a socially responsible exhibit that can be experienced in-person with safeguarding measures in place.

Date: November 12, 2020
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Location: The Country Club of Virginia
                 6031 St. Andrews Lane
                 Richmond, Virginia

This venue is one of Richmond's most stunning and beautiful locations. Safeguarding measures are being planned leading up to the in-person exhibit. For the safety of our guests, CCV has partitions in place at bar locations, food will be wrapped and plated, and the space will provide ample room to stay safely spaced throughout the gathering.

This year, artists who wish to exhibit their work will submit it through Art for the Journey's "Art Celebration website". This platform is where art will be juried and selected for the in-person exhibit, and will allow guests to preview art and make purchases — both in-person during the event and for a limited time thereafter.
