Please join Art for the Journey for the 8th annual Art of Healing Art Exhibition and Gala. The event will celebrate 10 years of Art for the Journey services around the Richmond region and across the Commonwealth. Regional artists showcase exquisite art for sale and generously donate 50% of the net proceeds to support the mission of Art for the Journey.
Every year Art for the Journey welcomes the community to come together to bolster funding that makes it possible for us to provide programs designed to promote well-being and positive mental health for thousands of individuals through art making, volunteer engagement, training, and broadcast. We are excited to offer this most central location yet for the event and we hope to have your attendance and to offer you a spectacular evening!
Over 200 works of art by more than 40 area artists will be on exhibit surrounded by the beauty and new architecture of the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Please consider attending the Art of Healing Gala on Thursday September 21, 2023 5:30pm to 8:30pm and help us celebrate this human centered work by hundreds of engaged community volunteers, area artists, and people who are bridging and connecting through art.
